Where to Find the Best Betting Offers for The Premiership Matchday Sixteen Fixtures Including Chelsea v Manchester City

The English Premier League Match Day Sixteen Fixtures and Previews

Man City look the real deal this season, but Sarri's Chelsea are no mugs and are pushing hard for a top-four slot. Their collision promises to be a high-class encounter. Eddie Howe's neat and attractive Bournemouth face a massive test as the host title-chasing Liverpool, and Cardiff v Southampton already has the look of a relegation six-pointer about it.

Chelsea v Manchester City - Saturday Kick-Off @1730hrs

One of the Premier League's blue-riband encounters. Sarri's Chelsea are having a reasonable season, and may even have had one eye on a title push before recent reverses against Spurs and Wolves left them outside the top four. They'll be looking to bounce back, but to do so they'll have to tackle the toughest challenge in the league: Pep Guardiola's all-action Manchester City. Their jet-propelled start to the season has seen them unbeaten, only held to a draw twice and sitting proudly top of the table. Scoring for fun, they've already netted 45 times in 15 games, an average of 3 goals per game. Aguero and Sterling top the scoring charts with 8 apiece, but City have a wealth of other attacking options. Those looking for any signs of weakness can look to a run of less dominant displays recently, Watford gave the Blues a scare in their most recent encounter, going down 2-1, but the fact remains that Guardiola's men found a way to win those games even though not looking their best, a trait of championship-winning sides. Chelsea, however, have become a formidable proposition under the supervision of Maurizio Sarri. The Italian has overseen an overhaul of the side that saw them early season title contenders, but consecutive away defeats have left them down in fifth, their defeat at Wolves at the last time of asking had Sarri seething. But no team containing Eden Hazard, with seven goals already this season, can be discounted.

Cardiff v Southampton - Saturday Kick-Off @1500hrs

A game which already looks to have significant ramifications for the battle to escape relegation. Southampton have endured a nightmarish start to the season which has seen them pick up only one win, and sit two places off rock bottom, a record bad enough for manager Mark Hughes to leave. His replacement, Ralph Hasenhuttl, has the pedigree, taking Rb Leipzig to the Champion's League, but he's got a fight on his hands against Neil Warnock's canny Cardiff. The Welsh side have been no pushovers on their return to the top flight. and sit two places above the drop zone. Both sides need to find more firepower. Danny Ings has five goals for the Saints this season, but there haven't been many from elsewhere. Cardiff have been just as goal-shy, it says a lot that their leading goal-scorer, Josh Murphy, with three, is a winger, and iconic Defender Sol Bamba has chipped in with two.

AFC Bournemouth v Liverpool - Saturday, Kick-Off @1230hrs

In their typically under-the-radar way, Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side have been having a decent season. After arresting a run of defeats with a win against lowly Huddersfield, the Cherries sit in seventh, contemplating an unlikely run at a European place. That they are doing so is due in no small part to Callum Wilson, who, with eight goals is right up there with the Kanes and Sterlings of this world. Their attractive and fluid play should make this an open and interesting game against a side they've never beaten, with Jurgen Klopp's all-action, title-chasing Liverpool one of the division's most entertaining teams to watch. Mo Salah has already netted seven, without hitting the heights of last season yet, and they look dangerous right through the side.
