This coming weekend, the Gallagher premiership teams kick off round six of the competition. The first game is set for Friday where Bath Rugby welcome the Exeter Chiefs at 7:45 pm. On Saturday, several games are packed which can be watched at BT Sport. On this day, Northampton welcome Leicester at 3 pm. At the same time, Sale host Newcastle and Wasps play at their home ground against Gloucester. At 7:30, Harlequins host Saracens which will be aired live at BT Sport. Come Sunday, Worcester host Bristol at 3 pm which will also be live at BT Sport.
This coming Sunday, Mark Tainton side keeps good faith with a good number of players who overcame Bath at Ashton Gate in the past weekend. However, Worcester Warriors will miss services from Ben Te'o since he suffered a calf injury and was not able to train with the national squad. On the other side, the bears will only make one change in the starting line up since Anthony Perenise suffered a hamstring. As a result, he will be replaced by Gaston Cortes as indicated by Tainton. Tainton said that there had been too much physicality and there was a need for preparation for this game at Sixways. He also commented and said that they are in a perfect place to win that match.
In the past years, Warriors have had the chance to enjoy the bragging rights at their home ground. They had a memorable promotion at the 2014/15 season championship final. Later, they enjoyed a 41-24 win against the Bears in 2016/17 premiership competition. Will the Worcester Warriors win the points battle against the Bears this weekend? The question remains to be answered come Sunday 7th October.
Worcester Warriors had their first win of the campaign when they stunned Leicester Tigers two weeks ago but were well beaten by the Chiefs last weekend. On the other hand, Bristol also secured their second win last Saturday when they beat Harlequins and secured ninth spot two points ahead of Worcester Warriors.
In this competition, every Sale v Newcastle game has always ended in drama. The last time both sides met, only one point separated them through a late penalty by Newcastle Falcons helping them register a win. Both teams have an excellent attacking capability. Therefore, the match will be exciting to watch. Sale has always shown dominant play during the beginning of the game which descends as time elapses. When the two sides meet on Saturday, a competitive match will be witnessed since each team is struggling for points.
On 6th October, another anticipated rugby match will be going down when the London rivals take on each other head-on. The game between Harlequins and Saracens will take place at Twickenham. If this game will be like the previous one, it will be worth memory. With several activities taking place off the pitch as well as entertainment, Saturday evening will be suited for everybody.
When these teams play, Harlequins have always carried the day. Unfortunately, Saracens have been beaten thrice in a row and will be looking forward to breaking the bad luck. Conversely, Harlequins aim at maintaining a winning trend. The last time the two teams met, Harlequins beat Saracens with one point which depicted a very competitive match.
