Manchester City v Chelsea, Kick-Off 1600hrs 04th March
Manchester City will try to retain their strong position at the top of the Premiership against fifth-place Chelsea. There is still debate whether Chelsea’s manager Conte will play Willian against City, despite his recent good form and goal scoring run. City could be missing Fernandinho after he picked up a hamstring injury in Thursday’s match against Arsenal. City’s manager Guardiola say’s the injury isn’t serious, but he will be a big loss for the team if he is still unfit to play.
Barcelona v Atletico Madrid, Kick-Off 1515hrs 04th March
Barcelona are 7 points ahead of second place Atletico Madrid. New signing Coutinho will be in the squad, and Barcelona will be keeping a close eye on Antoine Griezmann, who they hope to buy from Atletico in the summer. With his hat-trick in Atletico’s match against Sevilla on the 25th February, the fight for the top spot can only intensify. Nelson Semedo will still be missing from his usual right-back position, probably out of the squad until the end of March. Barcelona are given the higher probability of winning, though the two teams previous meeting was a one all draw.
AC Milan v Inter Milan, Kick-Off 1945hrs 03rd March
The rivalry between these two teams, The Derby della Madonnina, goes all the way back to 1908, Inter splitting from AC in a dispute over taking on foreign players. Currently, Inter Milan are in fourth place while their hometown rivals are in seventh. Win or lose the Nerazzurri will stay ahead. Midfielder Rafinha, who came on loan from Barcelona at the end of January should be putting in an appearance, he wants to remain at Inter, leaving his injury-prone period at Barcelona behind him.
RB Leipzig - Borussia Dortmund, Kick-Off 1730hrs 03rd March
Sixth place Leipzig will be on equal points if they beat second-place Dortmund. Emile Forsberg is back in action for Leipzig after being absent since January with an abdominal injury. Dortmund's hard-core fans will not be attending the match at the home ground of the much hated RB Leipzig, in support of Dortmund and other German teams who objected to major companies involving themselves in German football. Dortmund's fans boycotted Monday night’s match (27nd Feb), not happy with the Bundesliga’s introduction of Monday fixtures.
Troyes vs PSG, Kick-Off 1600hrs 03rd March
Troyes, playing at home, needs a good result against Ligue 1 leaders PSG, to further shield them from the relegation zone. However, according to the odds of online bookmakers and given the fact that PSG beat Troyes two nil in their last clash, the home team stands a little to no chance against Cavani and co.
